Aerospace Design Engineer

Location : Ajax (On-site first month for integration, 2 days on site 3 days remote after )Job Description : Design of landing gear structure, including landing gear steeringEnsuring the design of the equipment meets the applicable specification requirements including CAR, FAR and CSCreating high quality Model Based Definition and / or comprehensive detail drawings of large, complex structural componentsDefinition and routing of electrical and hydraulic system components and associated bracketryModelling of all assemblies, sub-assemblies and component parts in Catia V5 R28Creation of layouts including callouts of materials and appropriate protective coatingsCreation of 2D drawings and 3D datasets.Requirement : 4+ years of design experience within aerospace industry (must have experience with landing gear)Experience working with Catia V5, ADAMS, DOORSFamiliar with all aspects of design of landing gear; mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems and components
