What we offer
Reporting to the Director, Platform Engineering, the Lead Test Analyst will lead the planning and execution of testing strategy and perform testing activities to drive quality across the application landscape & throughout the lifecycle. Working across both our US and Canadian operations, this role will be working with IT and business stakeholder groups to understand platform needs, capabilities and expectations to ensure the delivery of product meeting the quality standards and objectives.
The Lead Test Analyst will work closely with third-party IT service and technology providers, relevant business and project teams and will partner heavily with solution architecture and project delivery teams to implement and conduct effective testing for the platforms and projects.
What you’ll do
- Apply business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies
- Create and execute test cases across platforms, projects and releases working towards zero defect releases
- Implement quality processes and methodologies within and across platforms to meet quality standards
- Train & mentor project and platform team members on creating and maintaining artifacts necessary for test planning and execution
- Drive test automation including test cases and execution to drive effeiciency in the process and reduce time to deliver
- Lead business and technical analysts through the process of test case creation and execution throughout the delivery cycle
- Ensure the right level of test plans are created for functional, non-functional req’s unit, uat, regression and hot fix releases
- Establish test standards as a blueprint for all applications to leverage
- Apply testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process with focus on continuous improvement
- Configure test automation tools to the platform or project needs for use by project and testing team members
