THE OPPORTUNITY : ARCX is looking for a Production Assembler and Tester to help build and test the next generation of advanced automation products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Mechanical assembly of electronics products following documented methods and procedures
- Install, mount, fasten and align parts to assemblies and subassemblies
- Production testing of electronic products using automated and semi-automated test stations
- Examine and repair units for both Production and RMA processes
- Conduct re-assembly and final quality check and inspection of units
- Prepare Kits of parts for various production activities
- Assist with packing and shipping of units to customers
- Assist with receiving and storage of parts and components
- Assist with inventory control
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :
Previous experience in mechanical assembly, electronics assembly preferredComfortable with the use of tools used for assemblyExcellent attention to detail and keen eye for precision workHighly disciplined with regard to record keeping using checklists and logbookAble to work from verbal instructions for R&D Assembly of prototypesAble to perform basic troubleshooting for electronics productsFamiliar with and experience using multi-meter and microscope or loopAbility to work for long periods of time with small parts, wires, toolsHighly motivated with good problem-solving skillsAble to lift up to 35 pounds and move inventory when neededIntermediate computer skills. (Email, MS Office, Shared Drives, Web Admin, Etc.)Communication in English is requiredASSETS :
Soldering and manual repair of electronic componentsAbility to replace / repair components on printed circuit boards & assembliesExperience with surface mount, thru-hole (SMT / TH) or mixed tech assembliesAbility to use MS Excel effectivelyAbility to troubleshoot electronics using oscilloscope and / or digital analyzerStrong written and oral communication skillsWHAT WE OFFER :
