THE OPPORTUNITY :   ARCX is looking for a Production Assembler and Tester to help build and test the next generation of advanced automation products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Mechanical assembly of electronics products following documented methods and procedures
  • Install, mount, fasten and align parts to assemblies and subassemblies
  • Production testing of electronic products using automated and semi-automated test stations
  • Examine and repair units for both Production and RMA processes
  • Conduct re-assembly and final quality check and inspection of units
  • Prepare Kits of parts for various production activities
  • Assist with packing and shipping of units to customers
  • Assist with receiving and storage of parts and components
  • Assist with inventory control

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :

  • Previous experience in mechanical assembly, electronics assembly preferred
  • Comfortable with the use of tools used for assembly
  • Excellent attention to detail and keen eye for precision work
  • Highly disciplined with regard to record keeping using checklists and logbook
  • Able to work from verbal instructions for R&D Assembly of prototypes
  • Able to perform basic troubleshooting for electronics products
  • Familiar with and experience using multi-meter and microscope or loop
  • Ability to work for long periods of time with small parts, wires, tools
  • Highly motivated with good problem-solving skills
  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds and move inventory when needed
  • Intermediate computer skills. (Email, MS Office, Shared Drives, Web Admin, Etc.)
  • Communication in English is required

    • ASSETS :

  • Soldering and manual repair of electronic components
  • Ability to replace / repair components on printed circuit boards & assemblies
  • Experience with surface mount, thru-hole (SMT / TH) or mixed tech assemblies
  • Ability to use MS Excel effectively
  • Ability to troubleshoot electronics using oscilloscope and / or digital analyzer
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
