What- the Role :

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a new Senior Accountant to join the Accounting & Finance team at the corporate office.

The Accountant will report directly into the Controller and will work alongside other Accountants. This is a well-rounded corporate accounting role involving financial reporting, preparing balance sheets, preparing income statements, preparing financial statements, completing intercompany reconciliations, conducting variance analysis, contributing to forecasting, and generally supporting month / quarter / year-end.

The Senior Accountant will also contribute to ERP system optimization and general process improvements within the accounting function.

Who- the Candidate :

We are seeking accounting professionals who enjoy engaging and challenging work in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with a close-knit team.

Qualified candidates will have at least 4 years of progressive accounting work experience . CPA designation is required.

Candidates need to have familiarity working in a complex multi-entity company with lots of moving parts. Must have hands-on experience using an ERP and proficiency in Excel .

Training in a public practice firm is beneficial, but not required.

Where :

Based in a beautiful corporate office in Downtown Vancouver , close to public transit and many amenities like restaurants and shops.

Hybrid - after completing onboarding and training, the Senior Accountant can choose to work from home up to 2 days a week.

How Much :

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience and skills, likely in the range of $85,000 to $90,000.
