The project :
The role is responsible for an assigned area of asset class responsibility and provides technical support to the rapid transit Engineering & Asset Management (EAM) asset class discipline engineering lead for a particular transit system (E.g. GO, LRT or Subways).
The role is responsible to verify compliance with requisite engineering and other technical requirements, provides oversight of technical work performed under various contract arrangements and undertakes field inspections, condition assessments including the development of strategies for preventative and / or remediation work necessary to correct asset defects.
The role coordinates, oversees, and implements risk-based assurance and audit programs for the assigned asset class discipline asset base and is responsible for the development of, and compliance with, technical standards, specifications, and other requirements for the asset class discipline within the assigned area of responsibility.
