Role Overview : We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to accelerate the market adoption of our catalyst technologies. In this role, you will build and manage key strategic partnerships across diverse industries, such as hydrogen production (via methanation and electrolysis), hydrogen peroxide decomposition, wastewater treatment, medical disinfection, ammonia processing, fuel cells, and synthetic fuels. You will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through market analysis, partnership development, and leading contract negotiations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Partnership Development : Identify, engage, and secure high-impact partnerships with companies across industries such as hydrogen processing, wastewater treatment, and process chemicals.
  • Market Expansion : Conduct in-depth market analysis to uncover emerging business opportunities and customer needs, leveraging these insights to expand DCL’s presence in key sectors.
  • Sales Leadership : Lead the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including structuring partnership agreements and negotiating contracts to ensure long-term business success.
  • Industry Engagement : Represent DCL at key industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build brand awareness and promote our technological solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner closely with R&D, engineering, and product teams to ensure our technology offerings meet customer needs and industry requirements.
  • Competitive Analysis : Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes, and proactively adjust strategies to maintain DCL’s competitive edge.
  • Research : Perform in-depth research on prospects, partners, markets and DCL technologies to become a subject matter expert.
  • Travel : Ability to travel within North America, Europe, and Asia.

Qualifications & Experience :

  • Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Experience : Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within the energy, chemicals, or hydrogen sectors.
  • Expertise : Strong knowledge of catalyst technology and its diverse industrial applications.
  • Track Record : Proven success in developing and closing high-value partnerships and commercial agreements.
  • Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-Starter : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, both independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
