YourOpportunity!

We’re looking for an Environmental Services Manager. This role is responsiblefor direct oversight of the Environmental Services team and for the effectivefunctioning, upkeep and physical appearance of the grounds, furniture andequipment in the retirement community.

What You Will Do :

• Manage generalmaintenance of the community including preventive, scheduled, and unplannedtasks. This may involve painting of common areas and suites, general plumbingand electrical repair, housekeeping (use of extractor, floor cleaners, vacuums,etc.) and any other duties
• Overseeall housekeeping practices within the community including scheduling andmaintaining housekeeping routines / practices and reordering chemical / cleaner asneeded
• Respond toresident requests as needed (including repairs) and act as the main point ofcontact for resident inquiries (may need to call in vendors)
• Act as themain point of contact for outside service vendors (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Firesafety, etc.) which may include calling in as needed and arranging quotes forjobs that require approval
• JHSCmember – conducting monthly meetings and safety audits
• Scheduletasks and vendors as needed for compliance related tasks (Fire Safety, KitchenHood Cleaning, etc.)
• All otherduties as assigned

Qualifications or Skills Required :
