Senior Account Manager Insurance (Remote)
This open role is for our client, a leading company in the healthcare services industry, specializing in comprehensive cost control, claims management, and medical assistance for international, Canadian, and American clients.
The successful candidate will support and drive business initiatives for high-value client accounts, working directly with key corporate clients to optimize service delivery, enhance client retention, and generate opportunities for account growth.
The role is integral to market intelligence and contributes strategically to business development efforts, collaborating closely with operational and business teams to ensure a high-quality client experience.
What is in it for you :
- Annual Salary : $100.000 to $110.000, based on experience.
- Performance-based bonus tied to company performance and profitability, paid out in late fall.
- Employment Type : Permanent, full-time role (40 hours per week).
- Work Arrangement : Remote position with occasional travel required to the Sherbrooke office; travel expenses covered by the employer.
- Vacation : 3 to 4 weeks per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities :
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned strategic Canadian corporate clients, managing all operational and strategic aspects to maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction.
- Deepen and expand relationships with key client stakeholders, applying in-depth knowledge of the client’s market, industry, and value alignment with our client's services.
- Oversee complex cases, manage escalation processes, and coordinate all stakeholder communications to address client needs efficiently.
- Identify and implement initiatives for operational efficiencies, improved profitability, and enhanced customer experience.
- Analyze client trends and collaborate with Business Development to support initiatives that drive account growth and address key underlying trends.
- Organize client visits, manage agendas, and produce reports to ensure alignment on objectives.
- Support the Finance team in collections and statement of account resolutions for escalated cases.
- Facilitate the implementation of new clients, products, and services, coordinating with internal teams to meet both client and corporate objectives.
- Track client performance indicators and provide timely, relevant reporting on key metrics, supporting informed decision-making for both the client and internal teams.
- Develop and maintain strong knowledge of Canadian market-specific factors, including economic, legislative, and policy impacts.
- Contribute to annual budgeting, forecasting, and revenue growth strategies in collaboration with Business Development.
- Identify competitive trends to inform product and service evolution and actively contribute to strategic market development discussions.
- Lead a small team of account managers, setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback, and supporting professional growth to enhance service delivery.
What you will need to succeed :
- University degree or equivalent.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience (required).
- 4+ years of B2B account management experience within a service-based environment (required).
- Proven track record of successful client management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the applicable market languages.
- Availability to travel as required to support business goals.
