Your Opportunity :

Knollcrest Lodge is recruiting for Part-Time and Casual Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our team in Milverton. In this role, you will report to the Director of Resident Care.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist the nursing process by observing and reporting changes in the residents’ physical and emotional conditions
• Deliver personal care to promote comfort and safety for the resident during activities of daily living in accordance with the standard of resident care
• Understand the needs of residents through Resident Care Plans / Kardex, and providing the prescribed bedside personal care needed
• Follow health and safety protocols and maintain a safe environment

Job Requirements :

Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate or current Nursing Student (RPN, RN)

Experience working in health care or long term care setting is considered an asset

Ability to read and write in English, and understand verbal and written instructions in English

Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with other colleagues

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Effective time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
