Hello, I am Maxime SOMAGLINO, Recruitment Consultant at FED ManuTech, specializing in temporary and permanent recruitment for engineering, technical, and manufacturing roles.We are experts in the field and speak your language.We are committed to supporting you throughout your job search and at every stage of your career.Your RoleI am currently recruiting for one of my clients, an industrial packaging company located in Boisbriand, for a Quality Specialist - Permanent Position, 40 hours / week.Reporting to the Quality Director, your mission will be to ensure rigorous compliance with quality standards and requirements while providing technical support to internal and external clients to guarantee product conformity and continuous improvement of processes.Your Responsibilities : - Act as the primary point of contact for any quality-related inquiries or issues reported by clients.- Analyze, handle, and resolve complaints while ensuring smooth communication among stakeholders.- Conduct laboratory tests to identify the causes of non-conformities and propose corrective actions.- Coordinate the management of client and supplier claims in a structured and methodical manner.- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (FDA, ISO, HACCP, SQF).- Implement problem-solving and analysis methods to enhance quality and customer satisfaction.- Manage issues related to colors, packaging integrity, printing, and food safety requirements.

  • The use of English is required for this position for the following reasons : - Communication with international customers : As some of our customers are based abroad, you will be required to communicate regularly with them in English, both orally and in writing.- Working with English-speaking partners : You will be required to work with English-speaking suppliers and partners to monitor orders and manage contracts.- Drafting documents in English : You will be responsible for drafting reports, proposals and contracts in English, for our international customers.Your Professional Skills- Excellent adaptability and change management skills.- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.- Solid analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.- Strong knowledge of quality standards and associated management systems.- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Advanced Excel).- Knowledge of SAP is a plus.- Hands-on individual, detail-oriented, and results-driven.- Advanced proficiency in both French and English for communication with international stakeholders.- Available for travel up to 50% of the time within the U.S. (passport and driver's license required).Your Profile- College or university degree in Industrial Engineering, Process and Quality, or any other relevant field.- 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.Conditions and Benefits- Salary between $70,000 and $80,000, depending on experience.- 4 weeks of vacation from the start.- Employer-matched retirement plan up to 5%.- Comprehensive group insurance.- Employee assistance program and medical travel insurance.- Training and professional development opportunities.- Social activities and a dynamic work environment.If you are excited about this challenge and want to join an engaged and innovative company, send us your application now!
