What will you do?

  • Plan, schedule, arrange and report on all incoming and outbound freight according to
  • operational procedures and driver’s handbook.

o Coordinate Litens vehicles between plant and warehouse to facilitate delivery

of components to allow for production to meet schedules in the most efficient /

practical manner

o Container coordination – schedule and arrange to prevent / reduce storage

and demerge fees

o Develop schedule for local drivers

  • Review (and initiate request for correction, if required) of import / export invoices for
  • parts loads, rush shipments for compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Respond to Truck Driver (local / US) issues / incidents and provide support including
  • after hours as required
  • File and keep records of all daily driver log sheets
  • Coordinate planned fleet maintenance
  • Focus on North American inbound and outbound freight movement including
  • schedule of drivers.

  • Schedule the pickup and delivery of containers from GTA rail yards
  • Prepare U.S. Run Customs Documentation in ACE and ACI
  • o Daily filing of E-Manifest with Canada Border Security Agency (CBSA)

  • Fuel management and record keeping – keep fuel spreadsheet up to date including
  • all inputs and outputs of diesel fuel tank at 250 Courtland
  • CERS export declaration
  • What will you bring?

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain or logistics planning and / or
  • import / export
  • Supply Chain Management Diploma and / or commensurate work experience
  • Truck and intermodal dispatch knowledge
  • Strong analytical problem solving and computer skills, with a high level of proficiency
  • in related computer software
  • Attention to detail
  • After hours availability
  • Ability to work within a team environment and independently with minimum
  • supervision
  • P-LOG Designation an asset
  • Knowledge of US and CBSA rules and regulations an asset
