Responsibilities
Managing and completing day to day accounting activities including project
invoicing and accounts receivable reports
Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the procedures and
ensure all financial processes are compliant with regulatory and legislative
requirements
- Supports external audit
- Manages multiple jurisdiction registrations, submissions and sales tax reporting
and payment
Responsible for recording transactions, reconciling accounts and assisting the
Corporate Controller with the month end close procedures
Qualifications
- A university degree in accounting, business administration, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years experience in accounting / finance
- Accounting designation (CMA, CGA or CA), or an equivalent combination of
related experience and education
- Construction industry related experience, project based accounting experience.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and changing priorities
- Effective verbal, written and listening skills
