Airswit is currently seeking a Project Quality inspector for a well-established Renewable Energy client in Nova Scotia.
The Project Quality Inspector is key in ensuring that all incoming materials, components, and products meet the company’s quality standards before they enter production or reach customer sites.
This temporary 6-12 month role supports quality assurance efforts during peak periods or specific project phases.
Key Responsibilities :
- Inspect and verify incoming materials and components against quality specifications.
- Use inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to perform precise evaluations.
- Document inspection results, defects, and non-conformities in the quality database.
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to address quality concerns.
- Maintain detailed records, including photographic evidence of defects.
- Support process improvements in receiving inspections.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications in quality inspection are a plus).Experience in quality assurance, materials inspection, or receiving inspection preferred.Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.Ability to read technical drawings and inspection specifications.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Familiarity with quality inspection tools and software is an advantage.Adaptability to fast-paced environments and changing priorities.This role is ideal for candidates with a keen eye for detail and experience in quality inspection and materials verification within Renewable energy or Automotive industries.
