SUMMARY :
The Operations Analyst is responsible for developing, collecting and analyzing a variety of operations data across all branches and business units and transforming the data into reports and tools that will be used by operations leaders to make and drive business decisions.
This position will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating operations metrics, partnering with operation leadership team to build and report on operational results and for providing reports and commentary based on results.
This position will report to the Sr Manager, Business Analytics.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :
Work within various business systems (ERP, CRM) to provide advanced analytics, uncover part sales trends / themes and report on key sales driversPartner with operations leaders to develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts by region / territory / product etc.Analyze historical data to forecast / analyze business needs and opportunitiesAnalyze monthly operational P&L reports to ensure accurate reporting of costs and revenuesSupporting month end / quarter end / year end accounting procedures by providing timely and accurate reports and operational analyticsPerform other ad-hoc reporting requests from Senior leadership teamComplete additional tasks as assignedPOSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS :
Education / Certification :
Post-Secondary Degree in Finance, Business, a related program OR equivalent experienceMust have valid drivers’ license with clean driver’s abstractMust be able to pass a pre-employment background checkExperience :
3+ years’ experience in an Accounting or Sales / Project / Financial Analyst related positionAdvanced skills in Microsoft ExcelProficiency with Business Intelligence platforms (i.e.Power BI, Tableau, Targit etc.)
Experience developing, collecting and distributing KPI’s related to Manufacturing or a Parts and Service operationExperience with Supply Chain Management and Customs protocolExperience with forecasting and financial modelingExperience working with Managers, translating business objectives into financial and operational metrics and measuresExperience leading meetings with multiple stakeholdersABOUT YOU :
