I handle two types of recruitment : temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area. I am currently searching, on behalf of my client, a company on the island of Montreal, for an assistant controller. This is a permanent position with remote work. Your responsibilties :

• the month-end process, including reporting for entities of the group, consolidation process, and year-end review and audit processes under ASPE.
• investigate and implement new processes to improve the timeliness and accuracy of financial reporting.
• inventory costing and coordinating with the business to investigate issues.
• documentation of all processes and procedures are up to date and the appropriate controls are in place for all financial processes under your responsibility.
• monthly profit-and-loss analytics for management's use, and reviewing the monthly balancesheet-binders.
• the standardization of data.
