POSITION DESCRIPTION :

Managed by Cogir Immobilier, the mission of the Richeloises residence is to offer seniors a life support system in a safe and warm environment, where our wonderful team makes all the difference for our residents. Located on the banks of the Richelieu, the residence is warm and is happy to welcome autonomous and semi-autonomous residents. Here we have delicious full meals at low prices, free parking, a social club, continuing education, and free coffee and smiles!

We are looking for a Maitre d'hôtel with a positive attitude to bring the dining room crew together to provide 5-star service to our residents. The Dining Room Manager plans and directs activities related to dining room service. He / she ensures the smooth running of the meal service, manages the staff involved and ensures that outstanding customer service is maintained.

Permanent full-time position, 40 hours per week, Sunday to Saturday, every other weekend, with variable hours as needed between 6 : 30 a.m. and 7 p.m.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Collaborate in the safety of residents and staff by ensuring compliance with health and safety standards in the dining room
• Collaborate with kitchen employees to ensure good teamwork
• Contribute and ensure the maintenance of the cleanliness of the dining room by taking on some household chores, in collaboration with the whole team
• Greet residents in the dining room and ensure their comfort
• Participate in table service with your team of waiters
• Present the daily menus, the à la carte menu and answer residents' questions about food and cooking, in collaboration with colleagues in the kitchen
