Due to the ongoing growth of our business, we have an opening for an HR Director / HR Manager (depending on level of experience), reporting to the CEO, to join our team.
Major Areas of Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for human resources strategy aligned with the company’s mission
- Focus on strengthening the culture, morale, learning, and skills development of the organization
- Managing HR Specialist, HR processes and policies including compliance with laws and union contracts, informing payroll of HR changes.
- Supporting managers and supervisors
- Managing compensation, benefits, and recruiting strategy to support company growth
- Streamlining the hiring, onboarding, and training processes
- Represent the company to external stakeholders with respect to HR subject matter
Requirements
At least 15 years of human resources experience and at least 10 years at a management levelExperience with Canadian and Ontario HR laws and regulationsCHRL or CHRP preferredDemonstrated abilities with respect to :Emotional intelligence, empathy, and compassionLeadership and influenceNegotiation and conflict resolutionResilience and stress managementPreferred experience with :
