What- the Role :

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a new Analyst, Fleet & Transportation. The person in this role will focus on providing detailed analysis to guide the company’s long-term commercial strategy and fleet management decisions. Key duties include evaluating fleet composition, deployment, and customer strategies, while closely monitoring cost and profit factors to ensure optimal fleet operations. The position involves developing performance metrics (KPIs), generating reports for various teams, forecasting, and budgeting. Additionally, the role provides insights to the Planning teams to ensure cost-effective fleet allocation, and it supports the management of commercial claims and trip planning. The incumbent will also assist with ad-hoc reporting and projects.

Who- the Candidate :

Qualified candidates will have a University degree in a related field such as business, finance, data analytics, supply chain, engineering, etc. We are looking for people with at least 4 years of experience in a similar Analyst role. Experience in a business that deploys a fleet is highly preferred- for example : trucking, shipping, air, delivery, utilities, transportation, oil & gas, etc..

Strong analytical abilities are essential, with a proven track record of organizing, analyzing, and presenting complex data to internal stakeholders across various departments (operations, supply chain, commercial, sales, etc.). Candidates must have experience creating, rolling out, and monitoring business KPIs.

We are looking for candidates who are very tech savvy and proficient with analytical and data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau for creating dashboards and reports. Effective communication skills are also necessary to ensure the smooth flow of critical information across teams.

Where :

Headquartered in Downtown Vancouver. Close to public transit and many amenities like restaurants and shops. Once they’ve trained up, the Analyst can work from home 1 or 2 days a week.

How Much :

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience and skills, in the range of $87,000 to $110,000.
