Maxim is currently seeking 2 HEAVY DUTY TRUCK TECHNICIANS for our Prince Albert Location. The successful candidate will work independently to complete the diagnostics, service and repair of heavy duty trucks and trailers. This is a great opportunity to offer outstanding customer satisfaction while working as a valuable member of Maxim’s prospering team!
Hours :
- Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
- Wednesday to Tuesday, 7am-7pm, 1 week on / 1 week off
Responsibilities :
Complete thorough and quality diagnostic, service and repair of heavy duty trucks and trailersIdentify potential and future problemsMake recommendations on repairs or replacement partsUpdate the Service Manager on completion time changesRoad test the unit to ensure quality of work completedDocument repairs, parts, or problems encountered during repair process on repair orderMaintain a clean and safe work environmentIdeal Qualifications :
3rd Year Heavy Duty Apprentice to Journeyman DesignationSafety Inspections Certificate an assetInterest in continually upgrading skills and knowledge in tradeValid Class One with Air Driver's License an asset (for road tests)Team player with strong commitment to the customerDemonstrated problem-solving skillsBasic computer skills and ability to learn in-house programsAbility to lift 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasksFamiliar with the tools of the trade and personally equipped with adequate supply of hand toolsReliable transportation to and from work (no bus service)We Offer :
