Through the lens of architecture, it sheds light on social and economic changes within specific periods, reinforcing architecture's status as a public concern.Job summaryThe Technician, Conservation and Preservation is responsible for collaborating closely with the conservators and the Collection staff to assess and respond to the preservation housing needs and mounting needs for the collection objects and to carry out the required activities. The incumbent is knowledgeable about preservation standards, is familiar with the design principles of the CCA, and applies these standards and principles when designing and fabricating housings and mounts for the exhibition, transport and storage of objects. The incumbent monitors and orders preservation / conservation material supplies in accordance with to the allocated budget.
