Shipper / Receiver

We are currently hiring a Shipper / Receiver , based out of our Vaughan facility . This position will be reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager and is accountable for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse during schedules shifts, through the efficient and timely movement of product.

Key Responsibilities :

Ensure accurate timely processing and organization of workflow for shipping and receiving functions.

Efficient and timely loading and unloading of products on trucks and into the racking system in a safe and timely manner ensuring product integrity

Ensure timely and accurate completion of all orders

Ensure quality of product throughout the process of loading, unloading, storage and picking.

Maintain a clean safe workplace

Ensure full compliance with all operating and safety standards

Counting to ensure accurate quantities of product aligned with invoices

Product labeling and appropriate allocation and storage of product

Provide good internal and external customer service

Ensure proper product handling to maintain product integrity and safety

Ensure correct temperature of product during storage

Assign picks and receipts to team for processing

Determine pick and receipts priorities and delegate accordingly to team

Follow-up on picks and receipts to ensure efficient work flow

Any other duties as required

Qualifications :

Certified Fork and Pallet truck operator

English, written / oral, basic math skills

2-5 years Warehouse experience and produce experience

Computer literacy

Competence and experience using warehousing systems specifically for shipping and receiving functions.

Knowledge of safety rules and regulations
