This position is for a Sales Manager to develop the business in Canada to focus on all vertical markets, including but not limited to Security, Transportation and Automation. This will be a home office based position in the Toronto, ON area. Another major city in Canada may be considered based on applicant experience.

Position Duties / Responsibilities (include but not limited to) :
- The Sales Manager will be responsible for proactively developing new business across Canada. This includes calling on specifying consulting and engineering firms, end users such as municipalities, security systems integrators, automation integrators and others. It will also include developing Security, Transportation, Oil and Gas, Utilities and Automation channel partners.
- Strong skills in new business development is required from sales leads identification, qualification, development to prospect and closing.
- The Sales Manager will work independently to develop, lead, train and support the regional outside channel partner sales professionals to identify, manage, and develop new opportunities from the approach stage of the sales process through closing the sale.
- The Sales Manager will be working closely with the Vertical Markets Teams, internal Marketing Team, Product Marketing Team, Field Application Engineers, and the Technical Support Team to promote Antaira products.
- The Sales Manager will attend and exhibit at trade shows to attract leads, engage in technical discussions with potential partners and end users while promoting the Antaira brand.
- Strong communication, top negotiating and knowledge of networking skills are a priority, and experience in one or more of the Security, Utilities, Transportation and Automation market is required.
- Account management background is a plus.
- Leadership and teamwork skills are important. The Sales Manager must be able to work closely with all departments within Antaira, in order to continuously increase knowledge and effectiveness in front of customers.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related experience5 or more years of experience in the Security, Utilities, Transportation and Automation marketKnowledge of sales and marketing communication strategies, terms, and creative processesAbility to develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members at all levels of the company and with outside partnersAbility to remain flexible in a rapidly changing situationStrong time management and priority skills are requiredBusiness travel is requiredStrong computer knowledge of Google Suite and / or Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Human Resources :
