Job Introduction

Canada - AB - Lamont County

Graymont's Lamont, Alberta terminal is seeking a Terminal Operator to safely unload railcars, load trucks and efficiently operate equipment. Graymont offers excellent benefits in a safe and collaborative work environment.

The Terminal Operator may required to work shift work up to 7 days per week in high demand period. Minor maintenance skills are a plus!

Hourly rate : $34.32 (after 90 days)

Terminal Operator – Lamont County Facility

Graymont is one of the largest lime and limestone producers in North America. The Lamont Hydrating / Terminal is a very well-established operation outside of Fort Saskatchewan, AB with a commitments for community and environmental stewardship.

Position Description :

Comply with all safety rules and standard safety practice
Unload railcars into silos
Load trucks with product
Assist in various manual labour tasks around the plant as needed.

Qualifications :

Over 18 years of age

Minimum Grade 12 education

Physically fit and ability to work rotating shifts Monday thru Sunday

Strong teamwork skills in a self-directed work environment.

Must be comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights

Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability

Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy

Mechanical experience an asset. Minor lubing, greasing and preventative maintenance is required

Experience working in industrial environments preferred
