Human Resources Coordinator 14-month Contract to Maternity Leave (Hybrid)

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team!
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing HR administrative support, interview coordination, processing new applicant background and reference checks, facilitating meetings, promoting employee engagement functions, and processing travel requisitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support recruitment activity such as posting positions on recruitment platforms, updating vacancy reports, tracking candidates, processing background and reference checks.
- HR administrative support which includes maintaining and updating employee files, assisting new hire orientation by providing onboarding materials, submitting new hire IT requests and offboarding checklists, assist with updating employee new hire trackers and exits.
- Post internal communications : company news, internal job posting, holiday updates.
- Work with corporate travel agents to book and coordinate airfare for employees and accommodations and track costs and check prices.
Provide travel itineraries for employees and confirmation information to finance.
- Handle all catering requests for company-related meetings.
- Participate in the health and safety meetings.
- Other duties as required.
Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- University / College degree in HR, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Strong MS Office experiences including Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain confidentiality
