UI Gaming Software Engineer I

Our client, a game studio known for creating one of the most critically and commercially acclaimed series out there, seeks a Software Design Engineer I. Come be part of the magic that happens behind the scenes by helping architect and build a state-of-the-art UI Framework that helps keep tens of millions of fans coming back time and time again to enjoy this AAA, next-generation series.You will work primarily in C++, using Unreal Engine 5. The UI content is authored using Unreal Motion Graphics (UMG), which offers the power to create UI known to be a best-in-class showpiece for games. You will help architect and build the systems which allow the team of artists and designers to shine, with a focus on performance and iteration speed.This UI team is uniquely poised to have a huge impact. It is often the driving force behind large features, both in the frontend and in gameplay. This is a diverse set of developers with backgrounds in web, VR, mobile, and games (both competitive and casual) brought together by a shared passion for delivering unparalleled user experiences!Required Qualifications : Software engineering experience in video game development (must have) with coding C++BSc. degree or equivalent experience / education.Preferred Qualifications : Shipped professional game projects.Used Unreal Engine and Unreal Motion Graphics.Built UI for games.Obsessed with the player experience.Skills / qualifications that are top priority?C++Game Dev ExperienceThe target hiring compensation range for this role is $39 / hr - $44 / hr.
