Job description

Type of position : Temporary

As a sitesupervisor, you’ll be required to work on client sites to ensure workcompliance and adherence to site permit guidelines.

Keyresponsibilities

  • Monitor sites.
  • Attend site meetings.
  • Write daily reports.
  • Write and follow up on non-conformity reports.
  • Ensure work compliance : Inspect the construction of ditches, dikes and hauling roads.Control backfill material compliance and quality.Control backfill compaction.Perform basic geotechnical tests.
  • Take training, where required.
  • Update various logs.
  • Ensure continuous communication with the various stakeholders on work sites and in the design offices.
  • Manage drillers and perform geotechnical survey work, including soil sampling, geotechnical field testing, installation of monitoring wells and writing factual geotechnical reports.

  • DCS in Civil Engineering and / or an ongoing bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written
  • Strong skills in writing reports
  • Available for short- and long-term assignments at client offices or sites
