Job description

Job Description Job Title : REQ21491 - Programmer Analyst Level 3 Business Days : 260 days

  • Closing Date / Time : February 19th, 2025, 10 : 30 AM EST Office Location : In Fredericton, Onsite Contract Duration : Asap until 27-Feb-2026 end date (Possibility for extension and conversion to FT) Standard Hours per day : 7.25 hours work day

Note : The successful candidate is required onsite the duration of the engagement with SNB in HSBC Place Fredericton, NB. SNB will provide office space with access to pertinent information and resources for the duration of the engagement. The ability to work remotely may be possible, as required (and only at the clients request and consent).

Deliverables The successful candidate must deliver the following in order to successfully complete the engagement :

  • Application release activities as assigned.
  • Completion of all assigned maintenance, support, and development activities (service requests, releases, incidents, problems, etc.).
  • Resolution of incident and problem management tasks.
  • Updating of team knowledge sites and documentation as applicable.
  • May need to provide operational support as part of the team rotation. Compensation will be based on departmental rates for on call, after hours.
  • Other duties as assigned, such as update team documentation as required, participate in team scrums as required, etc.
  • The individual will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement and complete the Department’s Privacy Training prior to commencing the assignment.

    Requirement Detail / Qualifications

    General Duties :

  • Gathers and analyses data for the conduct of studies to establish the technical and economic feasibility of proposed computer systems, and for the development of functional and system design specifications.
  • Designs methods and procedures for small computer systems, and sub-system of larger systems.
  • Develops, tests and implements small computer systems, and sub-systems of larger systems.
  • Produces forms, manuals, programs, data files, procedures, and training material.
  • Controls and evaluates systems testing as a member of a systems test team.
  • Write user, operations and training manuals.
  • Trains user and operations personnel.
  • Supervision :

  • Provides guidance and work leadership to programmers.
