About the Role :
Business System Analyst
We are looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven individual with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment with responsibilities that include proven analytical skills focused on analyzing business problems with automated systems and providing technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
You will work in a small team on cutting edge cloud service integration projects. Applies analysis techniques and procedures to gather and then translate business requirements into functional / technical specifications and designs.
You will attend meeting with technical product manager and business team and provide system solutions to business problems.
You will document your design of the solution and work with development team to implement and test the programs. You will also expect to support for production issues and work with development to fix program bugs.
What You'll Do
- Analyze moderately complex business problems and processes
- Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, documenting and developing systems and procedures that meet user requirements
- Configure system settings and options; plan and execute acceptance testing; and create specifications for systems
- Design details of automated systems
- Collaborate with others in our Business Operations group and IT Development Group on system development
- May act as a lead on cross-functional projects to address business or system issue
- Application system design, testing, debugging, installing, and routine maintenance.
- Resolve system issue on a daily basis.
What We're Looking for :
- BA / BS in computer science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or related major
- Experience in Java, Sybase / MySQL database servers
- Microsoft SQL, Network+, ITIL and CompTIA Security+ certifications are good to have
- Solid business communication and document writing skills plus demonstrated good judgment in defining procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
- Working knowledge of a particular technology field or business plus proven experience working on problems of moderate scope
- Ability to work with offshore teams
- Experience on ERP subsystem as Sales, Price or P&L is desired
- Microservice application architecture experience is plus.
- Fluent English is a must.
- Speaking Mandarin is a big plus to communicate with offshore developers.
