  • We are looking for a results-oriented and customer focused Business Development Manager for the province of Quebec (60% of our business is in the Greater Montreal Area), Gatineau and Ottawa.

    You need to reside in the Greater Montreal Area.

    This is an individual contributor role.

    YOUR CHALLENGES

    Create, maintain and develop strong business relationships with the company’s existing and potential customers. Generate sales opportunities, increase sales and contribute to the growth of the engineering department within SPI.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prospecting and generating opportunities;
  • Build lasting relationships with potential and existing customers by understanding their needs;
  • Present specialized fall protection products or services clearly and convincingly to potential customers;
  • Follow-up on tenders, negotiations and project closures;
  • Regularly follow up with existing customers to maintain good relationships;
  • Monitor and analyze competitor activities, market trends and customer needs to adapt sales strategies;
  • Find and develop new markets and improve sales;
  • Support the estimating team by making quotation visits.
  • YOUR SPECIFIC MEASURES OF SUCCESS

  • Sales and gross margin;
  • New customers (net);
  • Customer satisfaction.
  • WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in sales;
  • Technical background in industry, aeronautics, construction, engineering, or similar field;
  • Valid driver's license;
  • Available to travel the provice of Quebec (60% of our business is in the Greater Montreal Area), Gatineau and Ottawa;
  • Bilingual, written and spoken;
  • 50 to 70% of travel (60% of our business is in the Greater Montreal Area).
