Job description

Well respected and established engineering consulting firm is seeking a facade engineer who will specialize in the analysis of all building envelope structural and aesthetic components.

Responsibilities

Architectural aluminum and gauge steel
Glass
Anchoring systems

Requirements

Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario (an EIT close to PEO fulfillment will also be considered)

Preferably Civil or Mechanical engineer

5+ years of combined experience in curtain wall and rainscreen components analysis and calculations

A solid understanding of building envelope science

Experience in analyzing architectural aluminum, light and heavy gauge steel

Creative and analytical by nature
