Alta Vista Animal Hospital is welcoming a Veterinary Technologist / Technician, RVT to join our team of skilled veterinary professionals.
While our network is large, we still offer that local community feeling, mentorship, and additional training! If you love a fast-paced, action-packed shift and are looking for more variety during your day, then Alta Vista Animal Hospital, ER is the place for you! We offer 24-hour emergency services in our state-of-the-art facility.
This position reports directly to the Technical Resource Manager - ER and Treatment departments.

New graduates with knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy - welcome to apply! We love growing new graduates!
Surgical preparation, assisting and patient recovery.
Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records.
Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients and their pet parents
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving aptitude, including the ability to ask clarifying questions to facilitate effective solution-finding
Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues and pet parents.
Passion to learn more within the role.
A love for all companion animals!!
Schedule : Hours of work vary from 10 to 12 hours in length, including days, evenings, weekends and overnights.
