As a Sr Project Specialist within our Professional Services team, you will be part of an amazing organization responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Energy & Utility control system deployment projects, across Canada, the US and beyond. You will be able to leverage and utilize your project management expertise, communication, facilitation, and mediation skills, to improve the project delivery process. You’ll have an impact with contract management, customer relationships and the overall successful delivery of amazing Digital Grid Management Projects.

Your Impact

  • Set the strategy for projects based on the business unit's priorities.
  • Lead and coach assigned project managers.
  • Manage and determine timelines, priorities, and resources for the project.
  • Assist in setting up partnerships and alliances with vendors.
  • Participate in sales demos, customer meetings, trade shows and industry conferences.
  • Develop and / or oversee the development of project plans and schedules.
  • Manage and own the contract change process.
  • Coordinate project implementation plans.
  • Ensure that projects are properly tested, approved, and documented.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance / Accounting, Electrical / Computer Engineering or related technical field.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience. Ideally, managing projects of $5 million or more in scope
  • Experience with highly technical and complex projects.
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Business leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Experience with PERT / CPM and Microsoft Project.
  • Electric utility industry and / or automation / SCADA project experience preferred.
  • International project management and solid understanding of international cultures and business transactions.
