Electrical Test Engineer

Are you passionate about cutting-edge electrical systems and thrive in dynamic, multi-time zone environments? Join us as an Electrical Test Engineer on an exciting long-term contract, where you’ll play a pivotal role in testing and validating high-voltage electrical products with IoT capabilities.
What Will You Do?
- Test Planning : Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test strategies that ensure product excellence.
- Review Requirements : Analyze use cases, system specifications, and product requirements to fully understand the solution. Translate these into test requirements and detailed test plans.
- Test Design and Execution : Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and performance test cases. Manage traceability between test plans, test cases, automation sequences, and requirements. Regularly report progress and coverage to stakeholders.
- Defect Identification and Reporting : Document, report, and troubleshoot defects, issues, and anomalies using a defect tracking system to ensure resolutions.
- Test Bench Development : Support the test bench development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.Experience : At least 3 years in integration, verification, and validation of high-voltage electrical products with IoT features or complex systems.Testing Expertise : Proven experience in electrical hardware / firmware testing, including test system design, test automation, test plan development, and debugging of HW / FW issues.Technical Proficiency : Hands-on experience with electrical testing equipment such as AC / DC power supplies, Keysight CDS, and grid emulators, as well as expertise in instrumentation and software tools.Industry Standards Knowledge : Familiarity with EV communication standards such as ISO 15118-2 / -20, OCPP, and DIN specifications.Power Electronics Background : Experience in the design and development of power electronics products for electric vehicles or V2X applications is a plus.Systems Engineering Practices : Proficiency with tools like JAMA, Confluence, and JIRA.Work Environment : Adaptability to dynamic, multi-time zone work environments.Communication Skills : Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.Travel : Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.Please contact [email protected]
