Responsibilities
Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eatingRemind clients to take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulationHelp with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)Assist with personal care and hygiene, plan and prepare meals and help with physical therapy exercisesComplete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do soFollowing each clients plan of careAct quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencyOffer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessarySFC specializes in Attendant Care services for Motor Vehicle Accident clients.Assist with ADLs, including : personal hygiene; incontinence care; dressing and grooming; light massage and passive ROM; ambulation, positioning and transferring; feeding by mouth; mouth careObserving and reporting changes in conditionAssist with IADLs, including : laundry and linen change; light housekeeping; meals and nutrition; transportation planningCompanionship, Social and Emotional SupportAccompaniment on Errands and to Appointments (Via Taxi)Working in a cross professional healthcare teamQualifications
