As Regional Vice-President, Private Banking at National Bank, you will contribute to the implementation of the Private Banking and Commercial sector strategy. This role involves leading a team of specialists who support the growth of our clients within the region by offering tailored advice and financial services.

  • Ensure sound management of your team by creating a mobilizing climate reflecting your qualities as an accomplished leader.
  • Develop a competent, proactive, and mobilized sales force to create superior customer experiences.
  • Support organizational changes and contribute to the development of your team through a multidisciplinary team approach around the client and all their needs.
  • Maximize staff contribution by setting performance targets and regularly monitoring progress.
  • Anticipate human resources development needs based on organizational changes and the Bank's strategic orientations and meet them with personalized coaching.
  • Identify and develop business opportunities in your market.
  • Ensure maximum visibility of the Bank in the market by participating in business development activities.
  • Get involved in community and social initiatives.
  • Identify and propose changes that encourage a questioning of existing processes to optimize efficiency.
  • Stay informed about new developments in the economic field surrounding the sector and ensure that the products and services offered meet the changing needs of customers.

Your team : Reporting to the Commercial and Private Banking Market Leader - Montérégie-Estrie-Centre du Québec et Mauricie, your main mandate will be to lead business development for your market. The team consists of around thirty professionals in Private Banking Management, recognized for their expertise in wealth management and excellence in customer service.

Basic requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree related to the industry and 10 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree related to the industry and 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in sales coaching.
  • Knowledge of the Private Banking sector.
  • Strong knowledge of wealth management and the 7 fields of financial planning.
  • In-depth credit knowledge.
  • Trading experience.
  • Ability to maximize the use of sales management tools (dashboards, etc.).
  • Licensed by IIROC.
  • Languages : French
