The Inspector will analyze, observe, record, and help in determining the failure mode and cause, as well as record findings in a database. This role ensures accurate documentation, supports continuous improvement initatives and provides feedback to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.   KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Inspect incoming automotive parts returned from the field  Inspect and analyze returned parts for defects, wear, or damage to determine the cause of failure  Maintain detailed records of inspection data, photographs, and supporting documentation   Be an active team member in ongoing continuous improvement initiatives / projects or quality issue investigations  Seek opportunities to improve, streamline and re-invent work processes  Participate in brainstorming sessions  Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications. Liaise with the technical services and engineering team to gather detailed information on warranty claims  Other duties as assigned  QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS 3+ years experience in a similar role   Strong mechanical aptitude with a working knowledge of automotive components   Capable of lifting 10lbs – 30lbs  Capable of standing for extended periods  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written  Able to effectively prioritize and multi-task  Strong attention to detail Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint    Diversity & Inclusion At Mevotech, diversity goes beyond demographics.
