Job description

As a Senior Manager Asset Integrity and Reliability, you will lead the development of specific reliability and Asset Integrity programs, which will become a key component in improving the Refinery’s overall business reliability. Your goal will be to ensure consistent fit for purpose standards, skills, practices and technology are employed across all streams of work.

Your Responsibilities :

Implementation, execution and ongoing quality control, quality assurance and continuing improvement of the mechanical integrity programs and standards including fixed equipment, rotating equipment, and E&I equipment.

Lead the R& AI Group in support of the Refinery’s day-to day maintenance and reliability needs.

Work closely with Asset Integrity Authority and technical SMEs (TLC and AISC) to ensure that sound engineering and inspection principles are adhered to within each of the departments in the group.

Develops the skills of all Managers in the Reliability team.

Leverages the Performance Management program to ensure alignment and performs tasks related to salary administration of the team.

Builds relationships with internal and external (EUB) stakeholders thru the use of collaboration and engagement.

Promotes, supports, and advances a wide range of ideas and decisions, and convinces / influences others to follow a course of action on a company wide basis.

Accountable for accurate, complete and consistent EOL equipment program risk priorities and optimization across the refinery and terminals facilities.

Your Skills :

Possess strong written and oral communication skills. Able to adjust communication style to fit the needs of the audience.

Shows ability to work collaboratively to teach as well as learn from others.

Must show a strong respect for diversity and others' working, learning, and communications styles.

Knowledge / certification with API CRE codes and standards (Specifically SCIMI and SCCM

Working knowledge and awareness of jurisdictional acts and regulations (boiler and pressure vessel and pipeline

Your Experience :

Degree in Engineering, from a recognized University.

Should hold PEng designation.

Minimum 15-20 years of experience in a heavy industrial environment; refining preferred.

Must have 5-10+ years of experience as a people leader with well developed, collaborative leadership skills.
