As a Service Technician for Rotoweld, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and technical support of automated welding equipment.
The role involves frequent travel (40-80 days per year), including international assignments, to ensure optimal machine performance and high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to welding and equipment.
- Communicate with clients using various software.
- Install, start up, and train clients on Rotoweld equipment.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on automated welding systems.
- Train client operators and maintenance teams on equipment use and upkeep.
- Document interventions and create service reports.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams for technical improvements.
Requirements :
- Degree in Welding, Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of MIG welding processes.
- Experience as a service technician or 3-5 years as a pipe welder with MIG, or as a welding supervisor.
- Bilingual (English and French).
- Proficient in using Windows and other software.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in a field setting.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
