Position Scope

Join North American Construction Group as a Senior Tax Manager and lead our global tax planning and compliance strategies. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee domestic and international tax functions, including transfer pricing, compliance across jurisdictions, and tax planning for mergers and acquisitions. You’ll also collaborate with global finance teams to ensure seamless execution of tax strategies.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

Tax Compliance and Reporting :

  • Design and implement global transfer pricing and tax planning strategies.
  • Manage tax compliance in Canada, the US, Australia, and other regions.
  • Lead audits, tax provision calculations, and financial disclosures.
  • Stay ahead of evolving tax legislation and provide strategic insights.
  • Mentor and guide the tax team while fostering cross-functional collaboration.

    • Qualifications

    What Makes You the ONE

  • CPA designation and completion of the In-Depth Tax Program.
  • Seven + years’ of post-designation experience of relevant tax planning and compliance experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of tax laws, accounting principles, and international regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet strict deadlines.
