IT Project Coordinator (2) (IT Asset Management)Contract : 12 monthsBrampton, ONThe IT Project Coordinator will work closely with the IT Project / Program Manager and technical teams to support the planning, execution, and completion of IT Asset Management projects. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills to ensure that projects are delivered efficiently and meet both client and business expectations.Key Responsibilities : Project Planning and Execution : Assist in the planning and coordination of IT projects, including timeline development, task assignment, and resource allocation.Monitor project progress, ensuring milestones are met on time and that resources are effectively used.Support project teams by organizing meetings, tracking deliverables, and ensuring all team members are informed of project status and changes.Communication and Collaboration : Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, clients, IT teams, and vendors.Facilitate meetings, including kick-off, status updates, and problem-solving sessions.Ensure all project stakeholders receive timely updates on project progress, risks, and issues.Documentation and Reporting : Maintain project documentation, including status reports, project plans, and meeting minutes.Track and manage project risks and issues, ensuring proper mitigation strategies are developed and followed.Prepare regular progress reports for management and stakeholders, summarizing key milestones, timelines, and any roadblocks.Quality Control and Process Management : Ensure the quality of project deliverables by verifying that project requirements are met.Help the team adhere to project management methodologies and best practices.Provide administrative support to the project manager and technical teams.Budget and Resource Management : Monitor project budgets and timelines, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately and adjustments are made as needed.Assist in forecasting project costs and tracking expenditures to ensure the project remains within budget.Required Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.Proven experience in project coordination, preferably in an IT Asset Management environment.Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello, or Asana).Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Familiarity with IT concepts, systems, and software development processes.Basic knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Desired / Preferred Skills : Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, CAPM, or Agile).Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC).Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
