Primary Functions :

The Bartender will provide genuine hospitality to our guests by delivering quality beverages in an efficient and consistent manner, while maintaining a positive and cooperative attitude and a SMILE.

This position is fulltime including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties :

  • Follows all established and future Standard Operating Procedures and Cash Handling Procedures.
  • Provides prompt service by mixing drinks for servers. Ensures beverages are served according to standard.
  • Prepares, sets up, and delivers what is required for bar service according to standards.
  • Provides value added service to customers to meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Provides courteous service to customers by adhering to Nova standards :
  • Provides courteous, prompt, and accurate inter-hotel communications to staff and customers :
  • Ensures organization and cleanliness of the areas.
  • Reports all concerns related to Maintenance, Health and Safety, Security or Suspicious circumstances (including smells / sights and sound) immediately to the appropriate leader.
  • Adheres to all Nova Hotels standards, including Hygiene / Grooming, Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Key Deliverables and Guest Interactions.
  • Ensures customer concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintains up-to-date permits / licenses as required
  • Other projects / duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma
  • Previous training in hospitality is considered an asset
