Window Cleaner- (Rope Access Technician)

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Rope Access Technician is responsible for performing critical exterior building maintenance functions on high-rise buildings and other high structures. Common tasks include exterior structural inspections, glazing functions such as removal and replacement of caulking, window cleaning, and high-angle painting. Because of the inherent risks of the work, technicians must have recognized training, must conduct regular safety and quality worksite inspections, and must adhere to all company and legislated health & safety requirements. Technicians are expected to represent Aurum professionally at the clients' sites.

Hourly Rate : $25-$30 / hour (Based on the experience)

Position Type : Contract (30-40 hours / week)

Location- Vancouver (BC)

Responsibilities

• Operate at a high angle via approved safe rope access methods
• Conduct structural inspections
• Perform glazing functions, removal and / or replacement of caulking, and other work at height or high-angle tasks
• Conduct exterior window cleaning services
• Lead in the preparation of hazard assessments and job planning to eliminate or mitigate risks
• Manage rope access equipment on site.
• Report to the dispatch manager on a regular basis to receive instructions and provide updates
• Follow all company and legislated health and safety requirements
• Participate in all training as required
• All other duties as assigned
