Job Description

Aerotek is hiring multiple plumbers for our client in Richmond, BC. This is a long term position with the opportunity to work a 4x10 schedule - enjoy a 3 day weekend!

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing and pipefitting tasks.
• Build and install systems such as fresh water, salt water, black water, gray water, bilge and deck drainage, and finish plumbing HVAC.
• Work in teams with other trades; communication is key.
• Jump in and figure out tasks as work can progress slowly.

You will not have to do field work, and free parking is provided. There is an opportunity for cross-training and other duties. You will get to work on really cool projects with steady shifts and consistent hours, as projects are lined up for the next seven years. The team is a smaller, tight-knit group, and the company is the largest yacht building company in Canada. You can work 4x10 shifts, but 5x8 shifts are also available if preferred. There is an apprenticeship program that can sponsor hours, and the work is indoor on new builds. Overtime is available during ramps.

Work Environment

The work is indoor / covered but could be outside for some tasks. The environment can be dusty. The schedule is 4x10, usually from 7 AM to 5 PM.

Dress code is safety-conscious attire appropriate for construction and plumbing tasks.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00 / hr.
