Job description

Job Details : At Luxury Finds Consignment, we are passionate about bringing style and sophistication to all clients by creating a curated experience and environment. We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations and Store Assistant to aid in creating and maintaining a welcoming environment, while enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our retail operations (in-store and online). The ideal candidate will support daily store functions, ensuring but not limited to optimizing inventory management, website management, and compliance with company policies. This role requires a strong problem solving mindset and communication skills, effective time management ability, and collaborating with all members of the team to improve customer experience.

Schedule : up to 40 hours per week; must be flexible to work evenings and weekends.

Compensation : Hourly + Commission + Benefits

Website Product Management :

  • Oversee the presentation of products on the website, including but not limited to :
  • Assisting with bi-weekly photoshoot nights with a photographer–you will be helping with the display and placement of the products during the photoshoot sessions, and tidying the store post-session.
  • Consistently update availability of products :
  • Daily archiving sold and inactive products on our website.
  • Uploading of new products and product information according to upload timeline and guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate product photo sequence, descriptions, images, and specifications are uploaded and maintained.
  • Upload Carousel videos.
  • Assist with promotional updates on the website.
  • Provide feedback to optimize website performance and client online shopping experience.

Operations :

  • Assist with authenticating all leather goods with the Entrupy device and Legitgrail platform.
  • Assist with order fulfillment – pulling sold items off the sales floor during / post shopping events, and online orders.
  • Assist with shipping related issues.
  • Maintain and update inventory logs.
  • Check for any discrepancies between online and in-store offering (i.e. product availability(2) , prices, pending merchandise to be photographed).
  • Back of House, back stock, visual merchandise maintenance and upkeep.
  • Intake of new drop offs and contracts.
  • Event set up and tear down.
  • Support with product research, email liaising with customers and team
  • Administrative tasks.
  • Visual merchandise maintenance.
  • Comply to store policies and procedures.
  • Store Assistance :

  • Provide help to team members on the floor (i.e. wrapping, getting packaging).
  • Assist clients during peak times. (i.e. greeting clients, cashing clients out at the register).
  • Qualifications :

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
