CNC Boring Mill Operator

Location : Moncton, NB
Position Type : Full-time, Permanent
Shift : Evenings : Mon – Thurs 3 : 30pm – 1 : 30am
Benefits + Pension + 3 weeks’ vacation and relocation assistance provided.
Some overtime may be required.

Raise Workforce has partnered with a leading provider of metal manufacturing, product development, and automation solutions for the construction industry. Serving a wide range of sectors, including aerospace, defense, optical, consumer products, food and beverage, naval and marine, construction, architecture, design, and oil and gas, they are seeking highly motivated and experienced CNC Boring Mill Operator . In this role, you’ll set up, operate, and maintain a Toshiba CNC boring mill.

Responsibilities :

Set up and operate CNC Boring Mill to specific parameters and measurements.

Use hand tools and precision measuring devices (wrenches, impacts, calipers).

Read and interpret production documentation, including blueprints.

Maintain production schedules.

Identify and communicate improvement areas to the Machine Shop Foreman.

Ensure a safe and clean work environment.

Adhere to all company policies.

Qualifications :

Experienced in welded assembly and weldments, with a strong ability to identify and locate parts within the weldment.

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience required.

Experience with CNC milling and boring mills (Toshiba or other brands).

High school diploma or equivalent education / experience.

A college diploma in CNC or manual machining or equivalent work experience is preferred.

Probe experience (Renishaw preferred).

Strong knowledge of GD&T.

Ability to operate overhead cranes and rigging equipment.

Proficient in reading imperial & metric measurements.

Ability to work under tight deadlines.

Strong mechanical aptitude.

Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills for feedback to planning and programming departments.

Flexibility Offering :

Weekday Evening Shift 12hr x3 (any day of the week), with top-up 40hr pay + evening premium.

Weekend Day Shift 12hr x3 (Friday, Sat, Sun 7am–7 : 30pm), with top-up 40hr pay + Weekend premium.
