In this job, you will...
- Create and manage engaging content for website, social media, email campaigns, and other member communications.
- Proactively source stories, testimonials, and updates to highlight the organization’s work and impact.
- Develop and implement a social media calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posting.
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments / messages, and adjust content strategies accordingly.
- Manage multimedia content creation (graphics, videos, infographics) to enhance digital presence and organize library for efficient use.
- Plan, buy and operate advertising.
- Draft, edit and proofread communications materials, including newsletters, media releases, reports and website copy.
- Plan, execute and track campaigns across various platforms to support our advocacy efforts and member-focused programming.
- Track media coverage – both BCCFP mentions and relevant industry news.
- Ensure brand consistency across all external and internal communications.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support messaging and other needs for campaigns, initiatives and events.
- Track and analyze website and social media performance, providing recommendations for optimization.
- Use SEO best practices to improve search rankings and visibility.
- Support the new website project via content review, proofreading, fact-checking and more.
- Develop and execute communication strategies to engage members and stakeholders effectively.
- Assist in planning and promoting member-focused events, webinars and initiatives.
- Gather feedback from members and stakeholders to inform future communications strategies.
