Job Description
We are seeking an efficient and detail-oriented Pot Washer to join our team in Westmount, Canada. As a crucial member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our busy kitchen environment.
- Clean and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment using proper techniques and cleaning agents
- Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment, ensuring it functions properly and efficiently
- Sort and organize clean kitchenware, returning items to their designated storage areas
- Assist in maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness, including floors, work surfaces, and storage areas
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks
- Report any damaged equipment or potential safety hazards to the kitchen manager
- Assist with basic food prep tasks as needed, such as washing and peeling vegetables
