Be Passionate
and Take Initiative with these Responsibilities :
- Acts as primary point of contact and liaison with academic units on a range of complex scheduling, operational and administrative issues related to academic course offerings and certain types of special events.
- Helps to improve the classroom scheduling process by monitoring scheduling processes and operations, troubleshooting database problems and errors, and working with a database analyst to maintain the scheduling and space management database.
- Contributes to academic planning, facilitates the academic planning process, reviews academic timetables for alignment with set guidelines and provides recommendations to solve scheduling discrepancies.
- Identifies scheduling errors and contacts academic space schedulers to resolve conflicts while meeting the needs of those involved.
- Contributes to the efficient use of classroom space by maintaining the flow of scheduling information from Colleague and scheduling software.
- Liaise with facilities; serves as liaison with users and the registrar’s office regarding scheduling and events functions.
