Assist District Manager and Property Manager with managing execution of the annual capital plan and identifying current or future physical issues for repair Supervise service providers and contractors and oversee quality of work performed Review invoices with Property Manager for payment to contractors prior to submitting to Head office for services appropriately completed Conduct daily visual inspection of all mechanical, HVAC and sprinkler systems Repair maintenance items (i.e. light fixtures, vents, filters, plumbing fixtures) Maintenance skills Background in residential property management or related business experience Knowledge and understanding of the safe handling of cleaning materials used at the property (WHIMIS) Strong customer service Excellent communication skills to deal with residents, colleagues and trades personnel Must be able to lift and push heavy objects, including garbage bins, appliance removal or perform snow removal duties Ability to work some on-call evening and weekend shifts Pay Type Salary Surrey, BC, Canada

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to live and work at one of our properties in Surrey . This position would require you to live on-site and work four weekdays each week, every second weekend and on-call some evenings.
What we offer to employees
- Base compensation range is $61, - $64, per person.
This includes : one-bedroom apartment suite (taxable benefit)
