This partnership-driven model fosters long-term relationships and helps clients build a culture of safety that lasts.We are seeking an energetic, professional advisor to be the newest member of our team.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Health and Safety Advisor located in Halifax, NS, with some work from home flexibility. The Health and Safety Advisor will be responsible for developing and implementing health and safety policies, conducting risk assessments, investigating accidents, and providing safety training. The advisor will also be tasked with ensuring compliance with occupational health regulations and promoting a safe working environment.QualificationsHealth & Safety and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) skillsExperience in Occupational Health practices and regulationsProficiency in conducting Accident InvestigationsSkills in delivering effective Safety Training programsStrong knowledge of local and federal safety regulationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamEducation in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or related fieldCertifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or equivalent are a plus
